Entanglement Inc. values its brand and reputation. Our trademarks and brand assets help customers, partners, researchers, media, and the public identify Entanglement as the source of our technology, products, services, content, and communications.
You may refer to Entanglement accurately and truthfully in text when discussing our company, products, services, research, partnerships, news, or compatible offerings. You may not use Entanglement marks in a way that is confusing, misleading, disparaging, unlawful, or likely to imply sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or approval where none exists.
Nothing in these guidelines is intended to limit nominative fair use, descriptive fair use, news reporting, commentary, parody, comparative advertising, or other rights you may have under applicable law.
02 / SectionEntanglement marks
Entanglement marks include the names, logos, designs, trade dress, slogans, taglines, product names, service names, domain names, icons, badges, graphics, and other identifiers used by Entanglement Inc. to identify its business, technology, products, services, and content.
Examples may include, without limitation, the following marks and brand identifiers, whether registered or unregistered and whether shown with or without a trademark symbol:

03 / SectionOwnership and reservation of rights
Entanglement Inc. owns or claims rights in its trademarks, service marks, trade names, logos, slogans, trade dress, and other brand assets. Use of an Entanglement mark must comply with these guidelines and any written instructions provided by Entanglement.
You may not acquire rights in any Entanglement mark by using it. Any goodwill arising from authorized use of an Entanglement mark inures to the benefit of Entanglement Inc. Entanglement reserves the right to object to, suspend, or revoke permission for any use of its marks that it believes may be inconsistent with these guidelines or applicable law.
04 / SectionPermitted references
Subject to these guidelines, you may generally use Entanglement word marks in plain text to make accurate, truthful references to Entanglement, provided the use does not imply an endorsement, affiliation, certification, partnership, or sponsorship that has not been authorized in writing.
Generally acceptable
- Referring to Entanglement Inc. in news, commentary, academic, research, or informational materials.
- Identifying Entanglement as the source of a product, service, announcement, research item, or public statement.
- Making a truthful statement that a product, service, or system is compatible with or integrates with an Entanglement product, if accurate.
- Linking to an Entanglement website using plain-text wording such as “Entanglement” or “Entanglement Inc.”
Requires written permission
- Using Entanglement logos, stylized wordmarks, icons, badges, or visual brand assets.
- Using Entanglement marks in advertising, merchandise, event materials, sponsorship materials, or co-branded collateral.
- Using Entanglement marks in a product name, company name, domain name, app name, social media handle, or account name.
- Using Entanglement marks in a way that suggests official certification, partnership, or endorsement.
05 / SectionProhibited uses
Unless Entanglement Inc. provides express written permission, you may not use Entanglement marks in the following ways:
- In a manner that is false, misleading, confusing, deceptive, defamatory, disparaging, obscene, or unlawful.
- In a way that suggests Entanglement sponsors, endorses, approves, certifies, or is affiliated with you, your organization, or your products or services.
- As part of your company name, product name, service name, website name, domain name, social media handle, account name, username, hashtag, or email address.
- In or on merchandise, promotional goods, apparel, physical products, NFTs, tokens, or digital collectibles.
- In advertising, paid search keywords, sponsored posts, press releases, testimonials, case studies, or sales materials that imply authorization where none exists.
- In a way that imitates Entanglement’s trade dress, website design, visual identity, or communications style so closely that it could confuse users.
- In a modified, abbreviated, pluralized, translated, combined, hyphenated, animated, or distorted form.
- In connection with malware, spyware, deceptive practices, unauthorized data collection, unlawful surveillance, security circumvention, or other harmful activity.
- In connection with products, services, or content that are inconsistent with Entanglement’s reputation or business interests.
- To register or attempt to register any trademark, business name, domain name, social media account, or other identifier that is identical or confusingly similar to an Entanglement mark.
06 / SectionLogo and asset use
Entanglement logos, stylized wordmarks, icons, badges, images, design elements, and other visual brand assets may be used only with Entanglement’s prior written permission or pursuant to a written agreement that expressly authorizes the use.
When approved logo or asset use is granted, you must follow any brand instructions provided by Entanglement, including rules about size, spacing, color, placement, background, attribution, and prohibited modifications.
Keep assets intact
Do not alter, crop, recolor, redraw, stretch, rotate, outline, animate, or add effects to Entanglement logos or brand assets unless Entanglement approves the change in writing.
Maintain separation
Do not combine Entanglement marks with other logos, names, slogans, graphics, or marks in a way that creates a new composite mark or suggests co-branding without approval.
Preserve clarity
Use approved assets only at sizes and placements that keep the mark legible and visually distinct from surrounding text, graphics, and other marks.
Use current assets
Use only current, authorized brand assets supplied or approved by Entanglement. Do not use outdated, copied, extracted, or unofficial versions.
07 / SectionTrademark notices and attribution
When using Entanglement marks with permission, include an appropriate trademark notice or attribution where reasonable and consistent with the approved use. Entanglement may specify the exact notice to use for a particular project, publication, or asset.
Unless Entanglement provides a different notice, a standard attribution may be:

Use trademark symbols such as ™, SM, or ® only as instructed by Entanglement or where legally appropriate. Do not use the ® symbol unless the applicable mark is registered in the relevant jurisdiction.
08 / SectionThird-party marks
Third-party names, logos, product names, service names, and other brand identifiers appearing on Entanglement websites, publications, or materials are the property of their respective owners. Their appearance does not necessarily imply endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, partnership, or approval by or with Entanglement.
You are responsible for obtaining any permissions required to use third-party trademarks, logos, or brand assets. Entanglement does not grant rights in marks owned by third parties.
09 / SectionPermission requests
To request permission to use an Entanglement mark, logo, or brand asset, contact us before using the mark. Please provide enough detail for us to evaluate the request, including:
- Your name, organization, and contact information.
- The Entanglement mark or asset you want to use.
- The purpose, context, audience, and distribution channel for the proposed use.
- Mockups, draft materials, screenshots, or examples showing the proposed placement and design.
- The expected publication date, duration, geography, and whether the use will be commercial or non-commercial.
Entanglement may approve, deny, condition, or revoke permission at its discretion. A lack of response does not constitute approval.
